I got the front end all painted and hope to get the engine to the machine shop either this week or next. It was almost 90 degrees when I painted the front end so it dried fast. It turned out nice and can't wait to get further along and this was a big step.

What fuel line clamps did you use?  I'm talking the ones that hold the lines to the car.  The kit that I have is just a generic...one size fits all....type of kit.  The clamps that hold the main fuel line and the return line are not the right ones.  What did you use?

THe car is looking very good.

My lines came from Right Stuff out of Columbus, Ohio. My Clamps were correct for the brake lines but the screw clamps for the fuel line were wrong so I cleaned my clamps up with my bead blaster and painted them silver. The push in clamps were correct in the kit so they are all new.

I have been trimming my car in and did the door frames, floor pans, and trunk floor. I got the engine back and need to decide which color to paint it? I know blue is correct but I really like orange. Here are a couple of pictures of what  has been painted.
