nice lower grill molding  :naughty:

i went to the Hershey show a couple years ago and found one for 20 bucks  :bananasmi ch-ching   :money:

The lower grille molding that came on the Challenger was near perfect shape. Lots of the 73-74 Challengers are missing this molding.

yup, your right about that molding. a lot of them are all dinged up from rocks and other road debris. the 2 i have have a couple dings, but they're still nice.

Made some more progress with my Challenger. I installed the chrome headlight bezels, hood pins, rallye wheels, and put the rear wheel well mouldings on. The wheels really make the Challenger and I like the look of the hood pins and wheel well trim. Here are some pictures of my progress.

I got all the new metro interior panel on and put the back speakers in along with the package tray.  I put insulation below the back seat and put the back seatbelts and seats in. I put the Dodge letters on the hood, front wheel well moldings, inner front and rear fender shields, and installed the antenna. The interior looks good with the black console in place. Making headway but sure is slow going in my book as I want to drive this Challenger. Here are a few pictures of my progress.

That really looks great. I really appreciate that last picture. I was looking at that part in my pile of parts and trying to figure out how it was oriented. I knew where it went (sort of) but the pic was worth 1000 words.

When will you be on the road?

I should get the Challenger finished up in the next week with only a few items missing. I'm waiting on my bucket seat hinge covers to come and I have ordered a reproduction AM/FM radio so I can listen to some tunes from a modern radio. I put the washer bottle and new lines and pump in and the vapor canister is mounted along with the fan shroud after I found out my fan was to big for it and had to get the correct size fan stripped and painted. It is installed and the hood to cowl seal is in place. I finally put the hood latch on and got it adjusted so it latches correctly. I know once I start driving it there will be some bugs to work out but for now I'm just ready to drive it and have some fun in it. Here are some pictures of the 73 sitting next to my 71 RT. They both needed cleaned so I had them both out of the garage Saturday and my 70 Cuda is coming out next weekend to get ready for Monster Mopar Weekend in Saint Louis, Mo.

dutch I got al l 3 cars out today and my 2010 Challenger. I took some pictures and think the 73 will be ready to drive in no more than a couple of weeks. The new Challenger looks massive next to my 71 RT. I have a few more items to put on and I have not put the hood pin lanyards as I don't know where they fasten under the hood on the 72 and up models. Here are the pictures I took today.
