How many people have bias ply tires on their cars and actually drive the cars with them on?
When I bought the 'Cuda, it had brand new reproduction Goodyear Polyglas F70x14 tires on it. I LOVE the way these tires look on the car. The car rides and drives (around town) better than I remember bias ply tires riding. The car doesn't drive that great at highway speeds. The car seems to drift back and forth on certain stretches of highway. Also they don't handle at speeds. I got a scare last week when we went to a cruise night about 40 miles away. When I went to exit the highway, I quickly remembered I was not driving a modern car with radial tires!
I have some Polyglas G60x15 tires on the road runner that I was going to put on the Cuda to see how the car looks, how it handles and rides. Am I wasting my time? We want some bigger fatter tires, but we LOVE the look of a bias ply! Are we crazy to stick with bias ply tires?
