the 2x4 idea is right on i do it all the time you won't beleive how easy it will move

Finally someone sees the light!!
This method is even explained in my service manuals. I always try the simple things first, and then and only then, would I even consider filling/ shimming or replacing.

I am now a true believer of the religion of the 2x4. I shall have no other gods than the 2x4.  From this day forward i will pray to the 2x4 everyday and ask it's forgiveness for all the stupid crap i have done in my life. Including putting a cinder block on the hood over night trying to get the hump out of the hood. My brothers you must embrace the 2x4 will all your heart. Only then will you reach nirvana. :angelwings:

Good for you Nick! I am glad that you have found successs with the 2x method. In my world (general contractor/ builder) if I don't know what I am doing or how, I always "throw wood at it"!! Seems to work with the ol mopars as well.

HANDM
You da man !!
 Back atcha!
The wood works for all of your bending/ straightening/ gapping needs. I used haf inch, three quarter and 2x wood to gap the charger and believe me it worked wonders. You know the corners of the doors that always seem to not fit/ follow curves, open the door find the proper thickness, close the door on it a few times and viola! perfect panel alignment. Same with other corners............now that I think about it, I should shut down the remodeling biz and be a body guy!

There is something to be said about doing something because you love to not because you have to. I can spend 8 hours on the charger and not even feel it, 8 hours of construction, I'm beat and doan wanna do nuthin.
I am fully psyched to start in on the Challenger once the Charger is done. Let me tell you, after doing the Charger, the challenger is going to be easy :roflsmiley: well you know what I mean

Here is a crappy pic of the car before I fixed the fender, I can take more if anyone is interested.
