When I said 8 3/4 rear end...I accually meant HP suspension. I thought the 8 1/4 rear end was standard on the base models but maybe not. I had a friend from High School who's dad is the origonal owner of a 50,000 mile 73 Charger(with origonal tires) that has the 8 1/4 rear. I just assumed that the HP suspension meant the larger rear.
I know the 73-74 cars had NO delete option for the stripes but I wasn't sure what all got deleted on the 72's. So it looks like you cound delete the stripes and the louvers. I have seen some cars with the side mouldings and the louvers but I assumed those cars had the louvers added after they left the factory.
My 318 Rallye has both front and rear swaybars. The "rear" swaybar was only supposed to be installed on 340 cars but that is not the case apparently. I have talked to others on another site that have 318 cars with the rear swaybar.
My car also has the "light group" and has the fender mounted turn signals. I beilieve in 70 and 71 the fender mounted turn signal lights were deleted when you got the R/T hood since you can't see the passengers side light over the buldge. At some point they started allowing the turn signal with the R/T, Rallye hood.
the turn signals were on most fenders with the light package on r/t hoods in 72 ,,mine is also a very early model ,sold in 71 and came with those,, but they are just like the 70 to 71 fender signals,,i believe the light package includeing the 70 to 71 had these,,but i have seen many that dont,,just depends on the order,,the front sway bar was available as part of 3 packages:the trailor package,,the rally suspension,,and the formula s package on the early cudas,,you said your 318 was a raylle car so it came with the front sway bar,,a sway bar was standard with the so-called musclecars,a group that that includes the CUDA,CHALLENGER R/T,CHALLENGER RALLY,AAR CUDA,CHALLENGER T/A,AND THE 67 TO 69 BARRACUDAS with the 340 or 383 engines,,of course there are always something that could have slide thru on base models,or others, especially on models that sold in persay 71 ,even though the car was a 72
