let's not get out of hand here, Mike was just asking a question as he has never done this before, Joe probably has done this many times and it is ok in other leagues.

Let's just play and not crush this before it even starts

My last post for the night.

Since we all don't know each other, and just because I had an idea gives me no right to make the decisions, all trades and transactions will be put to a league vote, but in the case of a tie? then what.

Mike, you want to make your trade with whom ever, we'll put it to a league vote, if in goes in your favor I will make the manual changes in the league settings.

For some reason I cannot post a poll here in this thread, so either someone needs to help me figure out how to cancel my old poll, or someone else post a poll if the Team owners agree or not to this draft trade Mike has in the works.

The Poll nees to state do you agree in Mikes 1st Round Draft pick being traded for "TEAM TBD" 1st round and 3rd round draft picks? Mike, we need to know the details, what we need to know, is this the 1st Round 2nd pic, 3rd pic, 4th pic, etc....and the 3rd round draft # pic ???

My  :2cents:...Mike, if this were a live draft, that would make sense, to trade down.  However, it's not a live draft, it's an auto-draft.  If you don't mess with your rankings but accept the Yahoo rankings, you get Adrian Petersen with the first pick - almost a sure-fire high scorer.  By the time it gets around to you again, there will still be plenty of good players left - a number of good RBs, lots of good QBs (don't worry, Favre won't be ranked that high...  :stirpot:), almost all the good receivers.  And remember - you don't have just the 24th pick - you have the 24th AND the 25th.  My advice to everyone is to just go with it as Bob has set it up.  It's for fun - talk a little trash, sure, but for fun.  If you feel your competitive juices getting a little overheated, do what I did and go get another team in a competitive public league.

Greg,

I'm fine with the setup of the league now as it stands. In fact, I like the auto-draft because there won't be any pressure on me after that first pick. Yahoo will be giving me the next best player.

I really didn't think this trade thing all the way thru. I think it would be a pain to be voting all the time.

What do you think, we start a new Thread, called "Cuda-Challenger Fantasy Football League" ?

I wish I could help with the poll thing, but in all my years here, I still don't know how to set one up.   :banghead:

Starting a new thread isn't a bad idea...

For the vote request for Trade/Transactions by Commissioner or league vote

From the 12 teams, 6 votes to Commissioner, 2 votes to League, & 4 undecided

Settings will reflect Commissioner
