Just as the title states, Bought my car, and the guy had duct tape over the filler tube..

I'd check the Help brand products at local parts store.  These are standard parts that fit many cars.

Yeah thats what i figured, but the advanced auto counter people i spoke to were under the impression they couldnt get anything for me that would work.
