How can this be?

How can this car bring this kind of money? $18,000? I put my blk 73 numbers matching 340, rust free, challenger on ebay 3 months ago and it stalled at 12,000.00. My car was imo better than this one. Is it the red color?   :villagers:

Who knows with the color.  I wouldn't say that red cars inherently sell for more money but maybe that's what the bidder was looking for.  Who knows.  :dunno: It only takes 2 people to engage in a bidding war.
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

It might be just as simple as the time of year.  Summertime is primetime.  Did you unload your 340 for $12K?

Just depends on who's watching and bidding at the time. I've put stuff on ebay that never met the reserve, then when I relisted it, the bidding went way over the reserve.

Most of the bidders have few feedbacks so their bids most likely are not real.
