Help . What size of tire on rear?

I've read through the tire combo section a bit and my head is spinning.
I have a 70 Challenger stock 8 3/4 I have new rims 15x8 with 4.5 back spacing.
Here are my size choices with the tires I want. I don't want any rub issues! I have new ESPO leafs I asked for plus 1 1/2" Don't know for sure how it sits yet as it's still on jack stands being worked on. Front rims are 15x7 with 235/60/r- 15
255/60/r-15 (I'm leaning towards this size?)
275/60/r-15
295/50/r-15

I have 255 60R 15's on mine and love them. I had 275's and they rubbed, but that's just me, others have 275's with no problems.

Please post pictures so we can see how the tires fit in the rear and how the car sits. I am in the process of deciding which 15" tires, wheels and leaf springs to put on my '73 'Cuda.
I am also pretty sure I will be putting 255/60x15 rears and 235/60x15 fronts.

I had 15" ralleys with 235 / 255 on them and I think I`ll go back to that after the car is done.

I had 275/60 on a 15x8 with 4.25 rear space and they fit with no problems.

I've also had 295/50 on 15x8 with 4.75 rear space and they fit with no problems. The back side was a bit close to the spring, about 1/4", but I had plenty of room to the wheel opening lip.

I've had 295/65 on an 15x8 with 4.5 rear space. They fit and would work for drag strip passes where hte rear was lifting. Never had any mroe than my butt in the seat during those passes, but they looked like they might rub with some extra weight in the rear seat.

I should probably also mention that my wheel openings have the stock quarters and have had the edges rolled, so I've got almost 3/4" more room than some guys with restoration quarters and unmodified openings.

  You don't want to go any bigger in the front.   

I have 255's/60/15" in the rear on 7" rims with plenty of room. I also have Espo 2" overstock height springs too. Going up to 275 SHOULD work, but each car is different.    There Is NO way 295's will work, which means using a B-Body rear end.

Thanks all! It looks like my original guess of 235/255 it will be then. Funny I have that exact combo on my 1986 regal with the big block!
