Hi Bart,
I have the final sheetmetal on it's way and still believe a friend from US is coming over in the end of mei helping out with all bodywork. If he doesn't I lost almost 6 months :banghead:
The remaing parts for building the Hemi is also in the container, all FHO stuff.

Nice friends :banghead: A friend, Moparrestoguy, was supposed to come over next week to help me with the bodywork. Now I hear from another friend that he will not come and I stand here with 6 lost months because I waited. Now the search starts for a bodyman again. :bricks1:

Got the new front welded together finally, did all the prepwork myself and had a good welder come
over for the welding. How do I best treat the spotwelds? Just clean and put primer over or is there any
special product or something? Next up is the full floorpan plus the rear floor.

nice going Per  :2thumbs:  I was hoping you`d pull the trigger and go for it     looks really good.  Remember spotwelds are stronger than buttweld, so make sure you`ve got a few more than stock in there.  I suppose you are going to use an epoxy somewhere down the line? I`d just touch up the welds with a bit of rattlecan primer for now.

Got my frontfloor out today, tomorrow the leftovers from the rear floorpans. I guess cleaning and some antirustpaint in the frames?

Did the rear pans today which really a PITA because of the torqueboxes and this car has also normal
welds everywhere on top of the spotwelds. It was definetly manually welded at the factory but maybe they all were?

Per,
You might want to load all of your pictures to photobucket then edit all of your picture locations in your posts. All of yur pictures here will be gone soon.

Keep welding!

Have grinded, sanded and primed the frame so now I'm ready to install the new floorpans. Also went to pick up my 482 Hemiparts from FHO and some sheetmetal, I'm really getting up the motivation for this project now.  :grinyes:

Hope the photobucketthing works. :eek4:

Thanks Bart  Can you come over and help me replace my quarterskins? I have a good welder for floors and stuff like that but I really think a carguy is needed
for cutting and fitting a quarterskin.

Hi Bart, we still have plenty of time sadly enough. :( I have understood that before the quarters can be removed/replaced the front including the doors should be mounted and fitted? Since I've been waiting for the fenders from AMD to be released over a year and they still aren't this means that I guess I have to take a brake with the bodywork for a while if I don't go for Goodmark which I hear have a bodylineproblem.
I can remove the trunkfloor and clean and prep the frame but much more there isn't.
For the wheelhouse it's in fact only the wheellip that's bad so maybe cutting those ones out from the new ones?

With the chargerengine blown together with all the rest of the challengerparts that needs to be done I still have work. :grinyes:

Thanks for your offer, would be nice to have you in my garage. :2thumbs:
