Hey Per, AMD has been stating the Challenger fenders are coming out "In 2-3 months" for about 3 years now. So I would highly suggest looking for something else. I stopped waiting and grabbed an OK original but I know that you're not in America so it will be hard. The Goodmark bodyline is supposedly fixed by the way.

Nice progress!! Keep at it!

Thanks friend :cheers: I'm also leaning more towards Goodmark or maybe these Dynacorn I've seen on ebay, ever heard of them?

Just hope they will fit on the top frontside with my AMD shakerhood. :eek4:

Yes Bart, tried both Sweden and NL but rather crazy prices for rusty pieces so I think I save on manhours by going for new ones.

Have finished up all I can do for now. Cleaned the welds in the front, cut out the trunkfloor including
cleaning and priming the framerails. Welding in the front and rear floors are still to be done but otherwise I need to decide upon front fenders since I need a complete front aligned before the quarters and the rest of the rear can be done. Looks like it gonna be Goodmark fenders on this car, just a pitty since evrything else is AMD.

Per,

Since your front floor is still not installed,  Weld some angled steel inside the rear of the front frame rails.  This is the lowest point that gets the load from the lifts and floor jacks. This area usually deforms and collapses from all of the lifting force.  You can grind the areas where the holes are so that the metal is not visible from the underside.  I did this with my convertible when I replaced one of my bent rails, after seeing done on another website.

I can't seem to find any website showing what I did for mine. It is the section of front frame rail closest to the ground. You want the sides of the rail to be very strong if you were to use a jack under the area. If you weld some steel inside the frame, then grind some holes to match the existing drain holes, the plates will not be visible from below.

Got the new front welded together finally, did all the prepwork myself and had a good welder come
over for the welding. How do I best treat the spotwelds? Just clean and put primer over or is there any
special product or something? Next up is the full floorpan plus the rear floor.

Per
Belgium when you installed the radiator support what did you measure off of to make sure it was in the right location?
Can I get the measurements if you don't mind?thx

Takes some serious time to complete a car. I was hoping to see the vert finished. I didn't know he was selling it.

Per is very active with his horses right now. He shows them and has many posts about them. He has been quite busy with them also.  He has a container being shipped with parts to him that was is NJ. I hadn't heard he sold his challenger. Anything is possible. I will ask him
