Well, I guess I have to wait a little more for joy.
Called the second shop....
He says when he got into the valve body he saw that they "wasted the seperator plate".....holes drilled waaaay too big.....he says he happened to have a "virgin" seperator plate and will use that and modify it per the shift kit.......
I was kind of under the impression that the shift kit (TF-2) would have had its own sperator plate? I know when I bought a B&M kit years ago for another car it had that....

He also said they cut the throttle valve back way too short.....supposed to be .280, they went way shorter....
He said he is also going to go back in and remove the kevlar bands that shop #1 put in. He says that after thinking about it, he feels it will be too hard to calibrate properly with them in there....
I get the feeling I am going to get this back shifting WAY better than it was.....I thought it was too harsh and unpredictable.......
Either that or it will be waaaaay screwed up...LOL
So he said to call around noon Monday and he should be done or finishing up (not open saturday)/sunday).
....<sigh>...........I am going to need prozac after this.
