Can you post pic of your Challenger w/ Dog Dish rims?
« on: August 13, 2009 - 10:00:23 AM »
Thinking of getting a 2nd set of 8" & 7" dog dish rims & caps w/ 275 & 245 T/A Radials for Oh Mango.  Think it'd give it that factory racer look for a change of pace.  Can you post pics of your Challenger w/ dog dish rims?

Thanks guys. They all look awesome. I was considering a set of body color rims, 7's & 8's w/ no trim ring, but just the caps.  Was the trim ring & dog dish combo only available on the T/A?

Beautiful Culvers, just beautiful

Is it just the camera angle or are you trying the blacked-out Polyglas on steel/dog dish wheels look?

Looks good, i think it works with FC7 :2cents:

The Challenger R/T below belonged to member Sublime earlier this year when i added it to my library; at the time i was curious to see how the police-car wheels looked.

Never really cared for dog dish.  That was the cheapest option for hubcaps back in the day or they came when you did not order any other option.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

It's kind of strage...I really like the look of the dog dishes without the trim rings but really don't like them at all with the trim rings.  It would definatley be body color for me.  Some colors look beter than others but black doesn't do it for me like the body colored ones do. :2cents:

This thread makes me want to buy a set.  Is there a larger diameter than 15" that could be made to work?

I would imagine you could contact a place like tirerack.com and get some sort of a set of steel rims larger than 15" with the right back space.  Don't know what you could use for dog dish hub caps at that point though...
