Well, I'm gonna vent for a second before going back out to the garage to keep working. So anyway I'm working on the trunk of my 72. The metal is "ok" but has some surface rust that the previous owner por'd over. Thats ok except for the fact that he didn't bother cleaning the surface before hand. So I'm currently removing his shoddy work to do it right. So I'm sanding/using a die grinder with a abrasive pad. Anyway, I'm doing everything I'm supposed to, as in using approved eye protection for the task I'm doing, and the damn thing throws a "small" chunk of rusty metal into my left eye, & I don't mean slowly. This thing hit hard. Damn it, I hate crap like that. Wtf did I buy those glasses for if they don't stop everything. If had been stupid, I could understand, but when I'm doing stuff correctly, crap like that should not happen.... grrrrrrrrrr. Getting that chuck out of my eye was such a blast too....
OK, I'm done venting, I feel better. If only my eye did. Oh well, back to the grind.... {rimshot} Where the hell is my face shield. rrrrrrrr
