Steering wheel and horn button question
« on: August 17, 2009 - 05:40:05 AM »
I have been searching for a horn button for my two spoke wheel for a bit now.  I guess I am cheap, but paying $40 for a horn button that is just a round piece of black plastic...well, I guess I am cheap.  LOL

Found this on ebay.....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Grant-5790-Horn-Button-Black-Mopar-Logo-Signature_W0QQitemZ330349786150QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item4cea61b426&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245

Do the grant wheels use the stock horn button or a replacement?  Wondering of this would fit a stock wheel ?

Also, wondering....will one of the grant "tuff wheel" lookalike wheels fit my stock 2-spoke can and be "right" or do I need to change out the can or add an adaptor of some sort?  I have power steering so the extra leverage of the two spoke isnt needed, and I wouldnt mind having a thicker-feeling wheel in my mitts.....and they come with horn buttons.....

Thanks all....

I have one of those Grant 'Tuff' wheel lookalikes. Ten years ago they didn't sell an adapter...they might now. I drilled holes into the Grant wheel to get it to fit. Once installed and driving with it I realized the original wheel was bigger so you could read all the gauges without bobbing your head around.

Would you want to sell it?  If so, how much and is it in real nice shape?
