brake booster problems?
« on: August 17, 2009 - 10:13:42 PM »
i replaced my front brake system to a 73 setup as it is better, and converted to a 4 spd so the pedal was a little different.,the problem i am haveing is that the brake pedal sticks alittle,,,just enough to cause the brake lights to be on ,,an barley engauge the front brakes which squeals,,i can pull the pedal up enough to make the lights go out and most of the squealing stop but not all noise,,all parts new except booster,,the pedal is alittle stiff but that doesnt bother me,but will the booster allow these problems if it needs rebuild or replaced  :clueless:

A bad booster can cause the pedal to partialy apply the brakes.  Did you have a problem before swapping the brakes or is the booster something you just added?
