Help w/2 questions (pics incl.)
« on: August 18, 2009 - 02:51:58 PM »
Maybe somebody here can answer these for me...please
1. In the first picture, can you tell me which lock rods & clips are for the right side (passenger) and left side (drivers)?

2. In the second picture, how does that bracket/bushing come off my rear sway bar?

Guess I jumped the gun, no help needed on the sway bar question. I sort of knew that the bushing had to come out of the bracket first (did my front one last year) but it wouldn't budge. Apparently it was rusted in but a thin screwdriver, lots of WD40 and some elbow grease got them apart.   Still need info on pic#1 though, thanks.

that is my best guess without taking my panels off,,they can be a pain to install,,the top of the rod has to slide in the handle part at a slight angle and it then drops down to the bottom to push in the hole and then you use the clip,,but it can easily fall out of the top as you do this at the bottom

oh yea,i think i mine dont take those clips on the locking rod,,just the handle rod that opens the door,,i think the locking rod snaps into a plastic type clip

Thanks, I'll go with that whenever I get to taking the panels off. It's still cruising weather.
