Door Hinge bolt foam

Anyone know why we would need to replace the foam peices around the door hinge bolts? and where we might get the stuff?

Oh yeah another quick question, anyone know where i can buy a door hinge bolt kit? (just the bolts)

The  "foam" is actually seam sealer that "squished" into the hinge bolt holes.

You can replicate it by doing the same thing.

Just another barrier to help seal the interior. I used the same seam sealer I used on the floor pans.  :2cents:
I have never seen a aftermarket kit but they probably are available from a good junkyard or the other is  :ebay: . I have had good luck with small pieces for my '73.  :2thumbs:
