360 Longblock
« on: August 23, 2009 - 12:52:39 AM »
I am looking into building a stroker engine in the next 6ish months. I was wondering how much I would be able to sell my motor for later. I could make a awesome video and put it on youtube of it running to give people reassurance before buying. I think that would help with the price? The only thing is it runs kinda hot in traffic(Usually 200-210). Here are the specs.
Speed-Pro Hypereutectic Pistons .060 over
Stock rods/crank
The block is zero decked.
1.88 valved J heads
Comp Cam magnum 280H-10 grind
273 rockers probably(have harland sharps but probably would keep them)
not sure on intake prolly keep my weiland stealth

Without more info (miles, what parts were reconditioned etc.) I would say at this point about 300.00. Its already .060 over and a 360 shouldn't have been bored that far over to begin with. So it cant be rebuilt again. Good luck though, hope to see your stroker project soon.
If I cant fix it, it's broke

Duh I should have said how many miles is! It has 5000 miles on it. The heads have had a valvejob and were milled. The crank was turned .10/.10. It might not be worth selling ;) I might be better of keeping it as a backup or...putting it in my dakota!
