NZ Paint Photos >>>
« on: August 04, 2004 - 02:24:04 AM »

Here are the latest paint photo's of the R/T. The car will leave the paint shop Friday (Saturday).

When I took these photos he was touching up a few spots that he thought he could do better, in other words making it look 200%. They were very small inperfections that you had to look hard for, one near the door handle and one near the vinly roof area, so after those little fix ups they will get the car around to my restorers. VERY good job indeed by the painter. Just how I wanted it, no orange peel effect, no blemishes just a good solid paint that when you look at it all you think of is "WHITE!" no imperfections to take the mind away from the color!!
I love it anyways so thats all that matters eh!  ;) :D ;D

The white is awesome, and doesn't do it justice over the internet. Perfect shade, not too creamy and hot to stark.
I would have posted this in the "week ending" section but it would have taken up heaps of room.
I have also attached a photo of my new headunit, and 6x9" speakers with PG amp to make em play crisp Rock n' roll instead of distorted rock n rock.  8) Won't be too far away until this Challenger is road ready!!!!  :D 8) ;D

Cheers,
Carl

ps: The photos are quite fuzzy, don't know why they always do that.  :P So just look past the fuzz to the Challenger.
Also the fourth photo down where you can see the door gap, don't worry I went over the car 3 or 4 times before it left the resto shop to make sure the gaps were perfect, the doors are not hooked up properly in the photos.  ;)

Looks awesome NZ!  You didn't show a pick of the trunk lid.  Did they get that wing off of there or did you have to buy a new lid?

Thanks everyone!!  :D ;D ;)

LB: Yip, I know me sounds systems to and these are awesome. I have a Pioneer set up in my (cough) (cough) Subaru.  ;D Indash DVD, mini-disc 2 x 12" subs   8) ;D Well, lets just say I've had no trouble from them yet.  :)

REV: We ordered a new trunk lid because the original one was shot. Had rust pieces that rattled and would take ages to fix and get them all out. We thought that buying a new would would save a bunch on time/$$$.
The rear end now looks like the rest of his Challenger brothers  Sisters - gorgeous!  8)

I have attached a couple of before and after trunk photos.  ;) 8)

4C: No sub, too heavy and rattley for my Challenger, just crisp 6x9's running off a small amp, (very small).

Cheers,
Carl
