Brad, it's the real deal. Was Superbird #400 built. Originally Y1 lemon Twist.
The car is originally from west Texas, then went to California for several years and ended up in Alaska a few years ago. The car was only driven occasionally and on the day the pic was taken, he had driven it to a friends house. The roads were clear but his friends driveway still had snow on it and the car slowly slid against a snow bank. No damage was done to the car.
Check out the car on YouTube. There are several vids under Black Superbird. We hope to drive it on the HotRod Power tour in 2010. We'll also have it at the national wingcar event in Branson in June, the Super Summer Cruise in Branson in August and hopefully at the Cruisin the Coast event later in the year.
