On my 73 Cuda the orfice spark advance control valve is mounted on the pass.side firewall and a blockoff plate beside it.Anyone know what color that plate is supposed to be?Also the OSAC,is it still available?

Plate is natural, I suppose zinc plated silver... Never seen the valve....as long as it stays open your OK. It's design is to close when cold & not let the vacuum advance work.

The osac valve delays your vacuum spark advance by about 15 - 17 seconds. Hampers performance but improves emissions (NOx levels) Unless you are really concerned about originality, get rid of it.
