Hey Kenny, I did better than flowers......
« on: August 30, 2009 - 09:11:55 PM »
I came across an excellent deal on an '04 Chrysler Sebring so I bought it for my wife. It only has 37k on it and is really in very nice shape. I know I promised you I would court my wife with flowers but I figure a convertible is even better

Ok, I finally got the car paid for and at the house. I just resized a few pics and yes I know I need to mow my lawn lol. So here is the deal of the century as far as I am concerned, a 37k Sebring for 4k. I already have a nice deck and components for it. A cheapy Total(JL Audio) 4 channel amp and another set of components and it will have a nice little sound system soon.

:2thumbs:  Looks super clean, what does the engine carparment look like? Actually I think you can tell a lot about how a car has been cared for (maintance) by the way it looks otherwise. Looks like the previous owner took care and liked what he had.

The engine compartment is dusty and thats about it. A small amount of oily dust on the brake fluid reservoir but other than that it looks like a new engine bay. I am flabbergasted at the condition of it compared to the price. It was neat watching my wife drive off with the top down yesterday   :D   Thanks for the comments too guys. I have dusted off some of my saved stereo stuff and by next weekend it should have a nice sounding no sub system   :2thumbs:

Hey Brett, I am curious to exactly how you offered it to your wife ? Did you roll up and surprise her or was there another way you presented the car to her as a gift ? :dogpile:

As usual I just hamfisted my way with the news lol. She has a friend who is looking for a car and I was thinking that with my luck she will tell her friend about it and then we would be left with egg on our face if it seemed she turned around and bought it for herself so I just called her on the cell and told her not to worry about it, the car was hers. Romantic huh?   :lol2:
