Vacuum advance canister has hole?
« on: August 31, 2009 - 08:15:54 PM »
Is it normal for the canister to have a hole in it?  My hole is on the top; on the distributor side.  If so, what's it's purpose?

yes it is an air bleed on the other side of the diaphragm , the outer side does all the work

yup... you have to have atmosphereic pressure behind that side of the diaphram for it to function.
