Well if the car is a factory bill board like mine is then put them on make it look the way it is supposed to look if they are not original then leave them off.But it is your car and your the only one who has to like it.

I'm with Michele, you are leaving the luggage rack on cuz "that's how it was", so I'm not sure why you are making the billboards a choice.....

I think you should do whatever makes YOU happy. If you like the look and you have already bought them then by all means put them on. I like them both ways. It is refreshing to see a 71 without them but at the same time nothing says 71 'Cuda like billboards. With your color combination I think it would make a huge visual impact with them on. I mean we see 70 and 71 cars mixing up stripes, 72-74 Barracudas with hockey sticks, 72-74 Challengers with every variation of R/T stripe so its not a big deal at all to see a 71 'Cuda with a stripe that was actually offered on it.

Hey gang,

I took her out to her first car show Saturday nite and she took first place. Now I know what the luggage rack is for....trophy display!

Nothing wrong with a luggage rack, it is what makes some cars unique :2thumbs:

That thing is just drop dead sexy! Love everything about it, especially the luggage rack. I'd leave the billboard off myself, it's perfect the way it is :2thumbs:

Congrats to Betty!   She's a beauty.  All women should have a nice rack in my humble opinion.

Well I just put 2 & 2 together, duh... and just think we live about 10 miles away from each other...

I met you last Sat. at Chic-Fil-A now I know the Cuda. I was parked & hanging out with Rick and his blue '72 Cuda..

That is one beautiful looking '71 Cuda you have..

With or Without billboards it will still look awesome..

Maybe I'll see you tomorrow nite again and bring the Cuda , (not that your Chevelle isn't nice either)..

Later Vin...
