Finally Done! 71 Cuda GA4 Winchester Gunmetal Named "Betty"
« on: August 31, 2009 - 10:41:02 PM »
I thought i would share some pics of my pride and joy.  Oh what a long 5 years it has been. From the rusted hulk that I originally saw the hidden potential of a great 71 Cuda to actually seeing her outside glistening in the setting sun, the throaty rumble of the dual exhaust purring, the long hours of blood, sweat and an occasional tear all seem so worth it now. All that is left is some minor adjustments and a lot of "test driving"...you mean i actually get to drive it too, Woo Hoo  :bananasmi Enjoy, Ed

  Very Nice!

Looks like there might be some buildup in the exhaust tips, might need to take her out and runner to blow out the carbon.

Thanks gang,

Yes i have a smile from ear to ear tonite and even with all the BS I had with my body shop, time heals all and I have a beautiful car to show for it.

I do have billboard stripes for her and I am still debating about it.  The car is all original and didnt come with them but I always loved the look.  Best part is they can always be removed.

That is way nice----you should be proud of the way it turned out.   :2thumbs:    I bet it draws a lot of attention.   I would also go with the billboards.  I am going to add them to mine even tho it did'nt come with them.

I just want to say bravo on your color choice!  We don't see many of these earth tones and you have given the rest of us something to consider when it comes paint time.
