standard dash woodgrain
« on: September 01, 2009 - 04:37:01 PM »
I was at a show a few weeks ago and saw a 70 Challenger with standard gauges but there was woodgrain around them.  I have never seen that before.  The car was a very clean unrestored car...flat hood...but for some reason I can't remember if it was a /6 or a 318 car.

Was that really available from the factory?  That is the first car I have ever seen that way.

That was only available on Challenger S/E's , and on the Plymouth side, the Barracuda Gran Coupe.

J64 was not limited to SE models, I even know of a few T/As with it.  ;)

With J64 on a Challenger, you also got the Barracuda gauge cluster since the woodgrain was made to fit them.

Was definitely standard on Challenger WSS's and Barracuda Gran Coupes. Was not standard on S.E.'s.

I am intersted in selling :naughty:.

My 1970 Challenger Convertible, 318, B5 with H6B5 interior was coded for and came with the J64 woodgrain panel.  It really helped to break up all that blue.
