:pullinghair:  I just very cautious when it sounds like a good thing.
Today April 22, 2012.
Did u read where the FBI is saying in July a lot of internet connections will be shut down because they
arrested a group of Hackers from Estonia,
To see if you are one of the 100thsd that are affected you should go to a website the FBI has setup for you to
check and clean up your computer. WHAT?
I don't trust the CIA, FBI, O BOMA.  I would rather trust hackers
and buy a new computer than go to a website the goverment recommends.
Google is the monster of all search engine that stores everything u search on the internet.
If u want to go to the FBI website d c w g, org and maybe they will hack into
your computer and collect everything on your harddrive........   anyone want to be the guiea pig?????
If you have a reliable computer protection McAfee, Norton, with firewall etc. keep it up to date,
hackers go after users that leave their protection lapse, don't keep windows microsoft updated.

 :banghead:
Now to the freebie business cards.  Just saying. wageofsin>> wage of sin is a guest.
I will give u it free business cards for your address and any other information I can get.  What??

I have preached to my family never take anything free when they want your personal information.
wages of sin is a guest on CC.com Does anyone know him.

He has your address and now knows where your cars are. Sound familiar. Like the challenger that was just stolen.............
Just saying.   I'm just cautious when it sounds like a good thing........Do u know how much it costs to print business cards......

My self and others ship parts back and forth to him.  He shoots from the hip and can be trusted by his word as far as anything he has said he would do.  He also rebuild e bodies and has built a few for members here. I got his back, and I trust him :2thumbs:

Wages is well known. A member that was always willing to help. He sent me a few dozen business cards in 2010. Quite a few well known members that used to be here frequently are not around so much or at all anymore. Like Moparal said, people leave for their own reasons, life changes.

I can appreciate your cautiousness and apprehension and can see where you are coming from

But,
John was a long standing member here who has the utmost respect from myself.
I have traded parts with him and have talked to him on the phone numerous times.
He has helped me greatly in many ways, not just car related talk either.
He's a stand up guy who is as straight up as it gets.
His talent for fixing cars was/is mind boggling.
You could have seen for yourself, but all his pics are gone  :( :walkaway:

He's got my vote as one of the best dudes to walk through the doors of cuda-challenger.  :2thumbs:

Man, I gotta call that sob and get him back here  :stomp:

I apologize for coming on strong.

The FBI claiming many will loose the connection to the internet because the hackers they arrested set me off.
We put out a lot of info on the internet and should be cautious.
A lot of websites want u to store files with them to keep your Hard drive from clutter, melt down, hackers, viruses,, etc,
Do we know how secure these websites are?
There is a web site that uses my Gr Cpe convertible on its site.........the picture is from Flicker my friend posts all of local car events.
I have gone to web sites and copied, stored info on my hard drive.......
I keep telling myself to store my pictures on a CD but keep procrastinating.

Even when my son and I leave a car show or crusing in the evenings we watch if anyone is following us back to the garage.
I had a 89 Pontiac TA stolen and that is all it takes........
Call me overly cautious........

I understand your caution.  I worry about that as well.  I had a craigs list scare once when someone called about some baby girl stuff that we had listed for sale.  Person seemed innocent and interested enough initially.  That was the first and last time I gave my address out for a craigs list sale.  After he got my address, the guy turned very weird on me on the phone, saying stuff about baby girls, etc....  Needless to say, I was armed, locked, and loaded that night, and on high alert for quite a while after that.  Normally I meet people at a public location for those kinds of sales.  But I had a brief laps of caution.  Since then, we've all but quit using craigs list for that reason.

Got some business cards in the mail over the weekend.  Thanks!  And just in time for the Amherst (NH) antique car show and flea market.  Handed one card out to a guy with a Barracuda.  Now the cruise nights kick in this week as well.   :bananasmi
