I have many more engine pics. I got crazy with the pics at this stage. I wish I had taken more at other stages. I went with a stock intake and HP manifolds. I am rethinking these as we speak.

Factory exhaust manifolds are pretty trouble-free compared to headers.
Intakes on the other hand, are a relatively inexpensive way to grab a few extra HP and lose a few lbs.

What was your process with "Safest Rust Removal"?
Their website recommends dipping or a continuous stream, but how would that be done in an engine bay like yours (or the bottoms of doors like mine) ?

What I did was use a small kiddy pool to catch the fluid and used a sump pump to create a continuous stream. It can be troublesome but it was worth the effort. I had all the old hoses laying around in the garage. I had to reposition the hose a couple of times to get coverage. The best way is to completely submurse the item but obviously that is impossible for us "its got to fit in the garage" guys. Plus that much liquid would be a small fortune. I probably got 3 or 4 uses per gallon for the continuous stream method. It would depend on how much rust is eaten. I just used it until it just did not work any more. Since you filter out (garage towels) the rust after each use it is easy to dispose of the residue. It know I swore
a lot but just work with your method until it hits what you want. Also it will rust quickly once you clean the fluid after derusting. Be ready to protect the piece quickly. You can even use clean fluid by spraying it on the piece until ready to refinish. The water soluble characteristics are a bonus.
