WTB E-body convertible

Hi all,

I bought a Cuda convertible when I came back from Viet Nam and like most of us, I sold it long ago. Now that I'm retiring and have that free time we have all be looking for, I looking for another one. I will consider any E-body (70-71 Challenger/Barracuda/Cuda) convertible, though I would prefer a Plymouth project car or one needing restoration.

I know my way around a MIG, so I don't care if it needs some metal replaced but I am not looking for one with major rust problems that requires all new sheet metal or something that is a complete basket case.

I will consider any color, engine size, transmission, etc. I have several non-MOPARS I can trade (if interested) or cash or both.

1971 Dodge Challenger 383 Convertible

1971 Challenger Convertible with a 383-335 HP motor, rebuilt 727 auto trans with an 8 3/4 rear axle assembly plus power steering, power disc brakes, bucket seats, dual RT exhausts, an R/T hood, power top and tinted glass.

It's not a matching numbers car but it did come with A/C and it was a 4-speed car from the factory. It runs & drives fine but needs a cosmetic restoration.It has very little rust and is really is a super solid e-body convertible.

UPDATE: This is not a factory R/T car nor a factory 383 car, this is a 1970 383 R/T recreation built with all original 383 R/T parts over 25 years ago. From the K-member back to the rear axle it's has all original 1970 383 R/T parts from another R/T Challenger.

Do you have pics?  Is this a 1971 that was cloned into a 70, or was that a typo?

383 4 speed with air...yum yum. That was the only big block you could get with air and a 4 speed. Sounds like a really cool car, please post pics.
