Well here it is, the end of Summer?
« on: September 04, 2009 - 11:51:09 PM »
Hope everyone had a great Summer and had some good times.

To me when Labor Day comes, I think to myself Summer is almost over.

Has it cooled down alot now where you're at?
I'm sure they'll be a few hot days left.

But I really like Fall because you get some cooler weather now to do work you felt impractable when it was too hot. Plus now we get Football and Hockey season going.

This is my favorite time of year  :cooldancing:  For one thing the tempertures this past week have been perfect. It has been 75*-80* for highs and mid 40's to mid 50's for lows. Had the windows open at night with ceilening fans running, and close the windows once the sun is up. Furnace and air conditioner has not run for two weeks  :2thumbs:

And like T.C. says ...........FOOTBALL IS BACK ! Buy and extra case and sit in my recliner in front of the 60" and set back and relax. Oh, BTW...........GO STEELERS.........yeah baby, I'm ready for some football. Also hopping my BUCKEYES have a good season but other than a Big Ten Championship don't expect much more. That S.E.C conference is king of college football the last few years.  ALTHOUGH I'm picking TEXAS to win the national championship     :2thumbs:

Not in Brazil where I'm working. It's going towards summer now!!

So of course our job is almost done, so we're just a few weeks away from picking up our gear to go towards Gulf of Mexico for our next job.

They are starting to run the snowmobile grass drags now around here ,getting everyone pumped for snowmobiling . That's always fun . But I'm going to miss the car thing . This was my first summer since getting my car back together . People coming up to me and taking pitchers almost everywhere I go . The only good thing is things will be new again in the spring . :cooldancing:

Way to depressing for me, NIKKI being apart since april did not help! I've frozen my azz off way to many times at the shop to look forward to anything involving snow.  Every year it gets a bit harder. I wont retire here thats for sure!

We only had 3 days 90 or above this summer. It's been cold all year! I'm guessing an early winter. I bet we have snow in early Oct.

In south Florida the best time of year, the next 8 months, is coming!!

Been sweating my *** off, changing t-shirts 3 times a day working in the garage. But, you start to get used to it after a few days of working in it. Maybe I'll air condition the garage for next summer.
Now...football...my beloved alma mater the GATORS...and 70 degree temps starting in a month or two.

Cant wait! :cooldancing:

feels like autumn here... lots of rain and wind last couple of days.  I have no way to heat my workspace and was planning on getting my cuda ready for paint this summer, but I won`t make it...  :walkaway:    no way I`ll be able to get it in high build primer before it gets too cold to spray.....

I hate winter...  :sadwavey:

Weather here can get pretty hot in the mid day still. 90's in the central valley. But at night it is starting to cool down more now. Once it gets around 60-70 outside consistently, I plan to blast the underside of my car.

As far as my Football teams go, the Ninnies and the Raiders are looking for their a$$es to get kicked in week in and week out.  :horse:  :misbehaving:

Here in the Arizona desert it has been hot 103 - 108 this week.  It is acutally raining today which is a nice change.  Our good weather will be here in about a month and it will be nice until May.  I can't wait becuase it will finally be car show/cruise season again.  Around here our summers are like the rest of the countries winters, during the summer everyone hibernates so not much goes on.  Can't wait to actually drive my cuda during the day when the weather is nice and can cruise to a car show.  :jumping:
