This is a HAPPY Day!!!!!!!!!!
« on: September 05, 2009 - 10:30:53 AM »
Hi all........Well I've owned my T/A for almost 20 years now and until yesterday it was not complete. It had every T/A specific part except one. The one part it was missing was the fast ratio steering box. It had the right pump and PS cooler but a normal box. Well I finally corrected that this week. I bought a T/A box this spring and I finally got it painted up and installed.    :woohoo:     Boy there sure is a difference in the way the car steers now. I like the improvement for sure.

Congrats on getting that piece on there. Did the original die on someone and they replaced it with a regular one or did you upgrade from what was on there? I have always wanted the fast ratio steering myself, I bet you are stoked.

Somewhere along the way before I got the car it was replaced with a regular unit. Back when I got the car they were around $150-$175 for them and I though that was crazy. Well after paying $700 for this one I figured they weren't going to get any cheaper. I guess it took me 20 years to finally get the car complete. That's if they are ever done!!!!
