I was playing around a little yesterday trying to find the best angle to capture the challenger.

Here's mine.  How is the voting going to be set up?  One picture per member, so I think you guys need to pick the ONE picture you guys want to submit.  And I dont think any photoshopping should be done.  We're not experts, I like seeing just regular pictures that havent been touched up.  The rules have worked fine for years, we should stick by them.  My  :2cents:

No, we're not experts, but I want the best pictures for a calendar hangin' on my kitchen. Not necessarily the highest rated cars or million-dollar restoration works. That's my opinion.
Even though I submitted several pictures in this thread, I don't expect anyone to choose more than one of mine. If any of course. My pleasure to contribute.

I think you make a valid point about the photoshopping to some degree. There are times where it is legit, when considering the quality of the image. Many images need to be color enhanced, or cropped to fit. Au naturale is a beautiful thing. It does however take some luck, a vision, some knowledge of art and photography to make the incredible shot happen.

You are correct, I don't think it would be appropriate to go too far with the photo enhancing, i.e. removing objects from the pic,  changing features, removing blemishes, etc.
There are times where removing objects from the main image is deemed necessary, but if the group here feels strongly against it, then so be it.

The main 12 calendar images will be voted on after Sept 30th, the other images will be intertwined within the calendar if deemed appropriate. ( I don't think we need to vote on those ) From that standpoint, it is entirely possible to have more than one submission from one participant. I hope this is OK- I am not trying to slight anyone, and the opportunity is there for anyone to post images.
We have some awesome submissions thusfar, and the 12 main calendar images will be very hard to decide.

BTW, great shot!
