« on: September 12, 2009 - 08:08:03 PM »
Hey guys,
I had a system malfunction today, my PC is in the shop for a while. Posting from the neighbors just to let everyone know.

Hopefully it does not take long to fix.

Barry

Me too.

I forgot to mention that this system will not let me access my emails for some reason. If this takes a while, I may be getting a lot more done on the house.  :clueless:

The system has a built in redundency (sp), so I am not too concerned about data loss. The problem is with Windows, not the important stuff.

I have email access again, but registration reply letters & detailed replies in some cases will have to wait since I do not have any of that stuff on this system.

Not anymore.

I dug out my laptop & had to charge the battery. I can stay home now, their beer is safe.

Until next time.......  :naughty:

Update, the motherboard fried. They have no reason to think my of my data is in jeopordy, they are going to burn a back up of all of it for me.

I just ordered a new machine, over $900.00 bucks.  :eek7:

I did upgrade to a 23" monitor just because my eyes are not what they used to be. It will be especially nice after using this tiny laptop for the last couple weeks.

So, for everyone waiting on return Registry letters & detailed replies, I hope to be back to normal (for me) in a week or two. Hopefully the new system gets here early next week, we will see.....
