« on: September 14, 2009 - 04:48:20 PM »
Has anyone used the rear sway bar with a disc brake conversion? I asked Dick from firm feel and he hasn't tried any of the brake kits but Dr diff.. I just got the wilwood rear kit and I wanna make sure it fits. :feedback:

I know the caliper on the SSBC kit was too wide & hit the swaybar
never tried the Wilwood rear disc kit

Thanks Chryco, I guess i will be the Guinea pig!
I am pretty sure that I am going to have to send the Wilwood rear kit back to Mancini. I told them that I wanted the kit that fits the stock 15" rally wheels. They sent me the 12.20" rotor disc kit.  :pullinghair:
So I might go ahead and order the Dr. Diff kit and call it a day :dunno: I was trying to use the same style calipers all around but since im sticking with the rally wheels it won't matter if they are different & I mix & match. I think i am sleeping while typing I'm sorry if this post doesn't make any sense lol!

Makes sense to so maybe I am half asleep as well LOL
I am not really a fan of the wilwood systems , no dust seal in their calipers & there are more complicated to assemble than other makes , once they are together they work fine though
