A smoky 6 grand 30 second burnout, NO. Cleaning the crap from the pits off the tires, YES. 1st>2nd>3rd & drive out of the water. It went like .15 quicker with the 9" slicks despite the taller size compared to the radials and the heavier steel rims they were mounted on, so they definately helped some. It 60 footed a tenth quicker. I made the semi's a few times when I ran it in heavy eliminator back then but never won.
