Paint question
« on: September 22, 2009 - 08:58:41 PM »
I know the top of the cowl on a 70 challenger R/T is black.  How much of the cowl is painted black?  Also, the area you see through the windshield between the dash and glass, is that supposed to be body color?  Got to give the painter some guidance.

I do not think all of them were painted black but some were :2cents:
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

It should be the entire top part of the cowl, from the fender to fender, and from the top of the firewall back to the lower windshield trim piece.  You can kind of see it below through the glare.

We covered this back in the early part of the year in case you missed it.

Anyone ever see a Tawny gold cowl blacked out before?
I would like to see a pic of one if it was OEM.
