If I find an open rear pumpkin, how hard is it to add Suregrip? Are the Suregrip units readily available? Can I reuse the gear sets that are in the pumpkin? How expensive is this to do? Am I better off just buying a unit from someone like Dr. Diff?

the same ring & pinion can be reused , the ring gear is just bolted to the sure grip unit & the lash between the gears is reset assuming you measre it before you take it apart

Just to let you know, before you change the ring gear onto the sure-grip, is that all of the ring gear bolts are LEFT HAND THREAD.
