I have a friend who has a 70 Challenger 383 car who says that his car originally came with an aluminum manual steering box.

Did 70 Challengers ever come factory with aluminum manual steering boxes? Was this available on all the 70-74 E-bodies as I have never heard of any of the B bodies that came with any.

:iagree: All manual boxes for all mopars were aluminum, saves a fair amount of weight off the front end, but be prepared to build up some arms, turning into parking spaces can be fun. Below is a picture of one.
