Vikings VS Packers
« on: October 05, 2009 - 01:59:52 PM »
 should be a heck of a game tonight and you can bet i'll be watching it.the border batlle between these two rivals will really be heated up because of brett favre and thompson.any predictions on the outcome?????i'm going with the vikings by 7 points.our defense has to put pressure on aaron rogers and prvent the long pass otherwise we could be in for a long night, counting down the hours before kick off and getting of work to be ready for the game and  :drunk:
 :woohoo: GO VIKINGS.  :woohoo:

Not sure if it is true or not, but I heard on the tube yesterady that if Favre beats the Packer, he will be the only QB in NFL history to have beaten every team at least once.  Should be a good game either way. I am fairly certain that I will be asleep before the game ends....  lol

KEN,You are correct on that stat, that in itself is quite the accomplishment for favre in his very long football carreer.
it will be interesting to see if he's out for revenge tonight gainst the pack for dumping him in 2007.    :stirpot:

Packers dumping him?  What about the whole I dont want to play football anymore stuff?  The team moved on because of his decision.

I'd like to say the Packers win of course, but we'll have to see.  Adrian Peterson is good.  The rest of the team?   :clueless:

:screwy: Ya steve i know what your saying about who dumped who and i don't blame the pack for moving on cause he could never make up his mind.i think adrian is going to have a 120 yard plus game against their run defense and wiating to see if percy harving has a 100 plus yard game against them.

3 hours to game time ...........  :woohoo:  :drunk:  :drunk:

as a lifelong packer fan whos earliest memories of the team feature scott hunter at quarterback and john brockington at running back i hope favre throws for 7 touchdown passes and 500 yards  :grinyes:

ted thompson was brought in to assasinate brett favre.  the first thing he did upon arriving was draft his replacement. the second thing he did was cut all of bretts friends. at that point favre started his retirement waffling just like anyone else who was being run out of a job would.

when this game is over i hope to see brett being carried off the field on his teammates shoulders and ted thompson is one step closer to being fired just the way he predicted when he told brett not to come back last year.  better dead than TED! :hyper:

Didn't he sign a two year deal with the Jets, then used the "I'm retiring" excuse to get out of it? Haven't we seen this before?? I'm just glad he is a guy that can make up his mind...    Maybe next year he will lead some other team to more seasons without making the playoffs.    :icon16:

Favre is still available for trade and cash on our fantasy league.

I think he will have a big game tonight.  Do have to admit the sears commercial is pretty good where he is making fun at himself.

Keep Adrian in check-  Check

Got that part down anyway...

I just get a kick out of how for some odd reason they can score points in the first quarter, and in the last minute, but nowhere inbetween?   :dunno: :banghead:

Still a pretty exciting finish, but oh well.  Packers didnt deserve the win.
