We got a dump of snow on Sat night
Drove up to Edmonton for the fastest street car shootout , it was just above freezing with a cold wind , totally miserable to sit outside & watch , there were a bunch of cars in the high 9s & low 10s & a couple in the 8s . lots of Mopars attending , on the way home ending up driving through blowing snow & the ground was covered Sunday morning , looks like the next 2 weeks we will barely be above freezing even for the day time highs except on tues which is supposed to be seasonal temp
I am pretty much vconvinced I live in the coldest part of North America !!
anyone else seen snow on the ground yet ??

I think I saw some snow between the late-season flowers as I was cutting my lawn in the bright sunshine and high 20 degree (Celsius) afternoon.    Oh no, I just checked, it was Dandelion fluff, not snow.   :roflsmiley:

That is the trouble with living here on the west coast of BC, we tend to imagine a lot of things just to make ourselves feel as if we are part of the rest of Canada, that part east of the Rockies where they put the road between us and Quebec!

Haha

Neil so you did make it up after all? Dang it was cold loooool but what a great  turnout of cars...people and action on the track!! Too bad it started to rain and we had to shut it down. That oil leak bbrrrrrrrr too much waiting time and no where to warm up loooool

Temps are suppose to dip here after tonight...small chance any of the white stuff will fly...but this is Alberta...you never know what's around the corner...all reports up to now say our Winter will not have much snow and not too cold of temperatures  :bigshades:

It got cold like this the start of last October but we didn't get snow snow until December 5th or something...the muscle cars were still out and about in November...I felt like I was in California without the warm temperatures...you never see muscle out that late loool

I expect the same this fall

My hands were so frozen I didn't realize I had dropped my photocard...so I have no memories of why I was freezing my a$$ at the track on Saturday...but Dave came thru with some awesome cool shots of the days events !!

Yeahhhhhhhhhh baby !!

***Sorry to jack your post Neil but it's way too early to talk about the white stuff

Heavenly Valley ski resort in the Sierra Nevada's just got 3 inches last night. That's 5 hours away from me.
It hasn't snowed where I live since 1976.

From the middle of the state west got it last night. I think the Black Hill in SD got it also. So far all we have in the east is rain. It's been raining for a week now. I think I'm going to build a arc soon.
