I found some NOS M46 barracuda quarter scoops

Did you tell him that repops are now available in what ever you want them made out of?  Just wondered.

I more than agree on the extreme mark up.  Repops arent the same as nos.  Mine are in excellent shape, I was just curious.  I offered 1k  and he says 2k.  He has to find someone now with an m46 car that needs them really really bad.  I hate people who gouge us

Like I said before.  The repops can be made exactly like the originals.  I chose to have mine made of the plastic.  My choice.  They will look original as anyones.

WOW Alan!!! :22yikes:That's American money? :dunno:Man, that's just wrong as far as I am concerned, but like anything, it's whatever the market will bear & he can ASK whatever he wants. Maybe he'd make a trade for some other rare part you had?? Have you tried that? I tried once to get a set of NOS tail lights for my '68 Barracuda. They sold for almost 1K!! Too rich for me. I think some folks have been watching too much Barrett Jackson. But I was watching today and some of the cars were being given away compared to past prices. It's a buyer's market now!

  thats just crazy. What ever happened to the days when they were just cars and we could buy parts resonable to restore them for the love of the car itself and not get hosed.
