Figured you out

Nickleback

Just the beat to the song makes me want to drive fast.  I first heard the song in my father-in-laws z06, before I knew it, I was doing 130 down this main road here in Orlando (Lee Vista for those who live here).  Great song....

If we never drown we'll never know how well it tastes....So tell me how it tastes and I'll know just how well you drowned.

Just depends on what is going on - lots of stuff to listen to (song titles may not be right)
I like all kinds of music

AC/DC - Riff Raff, Sin City
Dream Theatre - Pull me under
Whitesnake - Still of the night
Heart - Barracuda
Soundgarden - Rusty Cage
Any System of a Down
Any early Boston
America - Tin Man
ZZ Top - Manic Mechanic
White Zombie - Supercharger Heaven, Black Sunshine, Children of the Grave (cover)
Pantera - Primal Concrete Sledge
Any early Enya
Primus - Jerry was a race car driver
Any Modest Mouse

Eric
70 Cuda, 7.0L Gen-III Hemi, Viper T56 w/9310 gearset, 3.91's, Megasquirt MS3x v3.57, Innovate wideband, Firm Feel upper arms, torsion bars, springs and strut rods, QA1 DA shocks. I did everything on this car except the fancy paint stuff and I drive it...and I can't seem to stop messing with it....

I like almost all kinds of music, except rap, but I don't consider that music :smilielol:  I really like early 70's late 60's oldies and 80's rock!  for example:

Pretty much anything ZZ Top is cruising music
China Grove - Doobie Brothers
Little ol lady from Pasadena - Jan & Dean(one of the few songs that mentions dodge!)
Long Cool Woman - Hollies

Haven't cruised in the e-body with them yet, but I've cruised in other cars to these tunes.  also I think its cool to listen to songs from whatever year your car was made, get the full effect

I read this whole thread and it took a LONG time but 71GTX finally got it.

Paranoid -Black Sabbath and most of the rest of their stuff. Floor it!

Now some more of mine:

I Stand Alone-Godsmack + many more from these guys.

Someone also finally mentioned "Black Sunshine"-White Zombie.
starts out with "Gripping the wheel his knuckles went white with fear, exploding onto the hiway like a slug from a 45..."
Need to check that one out if you don't know it!

Trampled Under Foot-Led Zeppelin

I'm in love with my car-Queen. "Tell my girlfriend I had to forget her, had to buy me a new carburetter"
Also, Stone Cold Crazy,Brighton Rock and Liar.

Nighttrain- Guns and Roses. "...I'm a mean machine I'm drinkin gasoline...I'll have a molotov coktail :naughty: with a match to go...honey, you can make my motor run."

Cowboys from Hell-Pantera. "...Pillage the village, trash the scene...you see us comin and you all together run for cover, we're takin over this town...
...showdown, shootout, spread fear within, without..."
Gotta kill it with this one if you really want drivin music.
Along the same lines with Pantera, Mouth for War, Cemetary Gates, Walk and as mentioned earlier in this thread, Primal Concrete Sledge and don't forget
The Art of Shred. Anyone not feelin this?

Eruption-Van Halen
to be continued...?

For those convertible owners, T.I.'s "Top Back" song is pretty cool. (provided you don't mind a little rap.)

Here's a couple..

Highway to hell  - AC/DC
Summer Song - Joe Satriani
Show me how to live - Audioslave

And even though it's an e-bod, not a b-bod, sometimes a little fast paced twangy country brings me back to the chase scenes from the Dukes of Hazzard.
