1970 Road Lamps

I installed my Road Lamps today  :jumping:

I tried a couple of weeks ago, but ran into difficulty with the road lamp brackets from Year One.  I found a seller on EBay, bakurrudahttp://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250500170250&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT, who was offering almost NOS brackets.  These brackets are much better than the ones from Year One which needed to be heavily modified to fit correctly.  These new ones fit great and made the installation much easier and no modification was required.  So, if you are putting on Road Lamps, do yourself a favor and get some brackets that fit the original contours of our cars.

Comparisons of the brackets……

Mounted Year One brackets......

Oh yeah...picturs of the road lamps......

I owe a lot to you Allen, thanks again for the switch, flasher and wiring, that made it an easy job!  :2thumbs:

Oh yeah, I got my 18 year old daughter to help as well, just like the old days. It brought back some great memories working side-by-side with her.
