    Depending on how long you are storing it, you might want to put Stabil in the fuel tank to stop the gas from getting stale.

    I always change the oil BEFORE putting it away for the winter. That way the dirty acidic oil isn't sitting there eating away at your bearings all winter.

    I have plastic on my garage floor, then plywood on top of it. I start it every couple of months and let it run for a short time.  I change the oil after I get it out for the first time and drive it for awhile to let it heat up.

    Drive it all year,
      No salt on the roads and it's dry, I drive it..
       So what if its 40 degrees out my heater hoses are connected...  :thumbsup:

    I change the oil before & after - I do run the car at least once a month between seasons.
    I don't bother to jack it up, even if I don't leave the yard I move the car to try and prevent "flat" spots on the tires.
    I do add stabil & top off the gas tank - topping it off is supposed to keep the tank from developing condensation & rusting.
    I too also put down a tarp between the car and the concrete floor.
    Also disconnect the battery.

    I fill the tank and add SeaFoam. I like it better then Stabil. I spray down the motor with WD-40. But bars of Irish Spring soap in containers, in the trunk, under the hood and inside. ( keeps the critters out ) And put stainless steel up the tailpipes.

    Well i usually go racing with my car in the winter time :burnout: head out to the beach, go for cruise nights and car shows all winter long :dunno: isn't that what you guys do there :clueless: :poopoke: :smilielol: Oh, sorry, i forgot :banghead: ..... i live in paradise :cooldancing: , no snow here for me :bigsmile: and salt is something we use for fish and chips, not for roads :roflsmiley:

    I'd never heard of the soap thing. Any type(scent) of Irish spring preferred?

    Irish Spring also makes a decent cutting wax for drill bits and band saws. Aye, smells manly too!  :bigsmile:

    I almost forget. I get a 3 bags of charcoal and split the bags and put them under the Chally. The charcoal obsorbs moisture. When it turns grey , throw it away. Don't use Match Lite charcoal  :nono: :nono:
