:iagree:  Saw this on the news, the female driver has turned herself in, it was the boyfriend who took the video.   :banghead:

Tell ya what, guys, I feel bad for laughing now! :villagers: :misbehaving: :bricks1:

I don't have kids - but I know how I'd react if this were one of my kids, too. And yes, she could have hydroplaned and killed everyone in sight, but she didn't. It was mean and immature, but I couldn't help raise a smile. People send videos like this into TV shows and get paid for immature pranks all the time, so I guess I don't have a lot of sympathy when 'the law' is changed to try to protect people from things like this. What annoys me the most about this story, however, is not the fact that she faces court and a fine, but the fact that we now have a law in place that basically says if you splash anyone with a puddle by mistake, you can be pulled over and given an on the spot penalty on your license. What a dumb frickin' World we live in.

When I watched it I felt this - the kids were on their way home from school, up to no good bullying pensioners, and deserved it. The end.

Might not be true, but grow up in Britain and you might agree!  :smilielol:

Standing next to a puddle on a highway is like sitting in the front row of a Gallagher show. What do you expect will happen?  :clueless:

So the kids are at fault for a couple of jerkoffs that go flying down a city street about 6 inches from the curb with the sole intention of splashing them?  The sidewalk is about 5 feet wide and they are standing AT THE BUS STOP.  Where else should they go?

The kids probably enjoyed it. Once they got over the initial shock, they would probably want the driver to go around the block and do it again.

I know this because I did this to my daughter and a friend when they were walking on the sidewalk following a heavy rain.  They squealed with delight and begged me to do it again. After the third or fourth time, I saw a guy in a pickup truck behind me stop, ask the girls a question, and then do a u-turn and splash them also.

You guys need to lighten up, and think like kids.

I dunno, maybe 15 ft up the hill where there isn't a giant water puddle?
