Polished some rust off the front bumper (managed to scratch it by using too harsh a compound) and threw it on the 72 brackets I got from Bullet. Thanks, Wade! Lined 'er up and installed some new halogens and the semi-pitted bezels.

Starting to look like a car! Anybody else try blacking out the vertical bars in their grille?

That is one sweet looking blue Challenger!  What color is your interior going to be, blue?  I wish Chrysler would have kept painting their engines orange so that color would be correct for the later E bodys too.  That would really pop under the hood!!  Thanks for sharing the in-progress shots.

Yessir, blue interior. That will get done soon, I hope. Things seem to be lagging on this project lately. Might have something to do with the non-stop growing grass and ten hour days at work.

Got the valance (FINALLY) from my ex-painter and got it and the parking lights on last week.

Will post a pic after I take one....LOL. Maybe later today.

YES..........looking good.........you don't have to tell me about grass mowing.   Usually3 times a week cause I planted Rye grass this winter.  I thought it would have died out by now.

FINALLY got the last of the stripe sections on. Will live with the "double-angle" at the bottom/back corner, I suppose.

Got a few more things done Sunday....door mirror, heater box in with new core, wipers. New NSS, but the tranny still drips like a bad case of the clap.  :eek4:

im not digging the stripe conundrum!!!!   :swear:

theres no excuse for that, its made wrong , plain and simple. and should be corrected, and id push , make that demand  sans cost , whats this the 3rd attempt? sheesh.

otherwise, that is turning out to be a very sharp car.

Steve,

I think I might try to hit that double-angle problem with a sharp exacto knife. A little trim might make it less noticeable.
