My HOLIDAY SEASON GIFT OF GIVING Time is here
« on: October 14, 2009 - 10:05:05 PM »
I have saved up, bought up and , kept back some special parts for all our special members again this year. And I hope the turn out is as good as it was last year with the SEASON GIFT OF GIVING

Last year in a simular post like this, Many many members listed parts they wanted to give away as gifts to any member in need of that hard to find well needed part. The catch to this was you absolutely really needed this particular part for your car and would not resell it for profit.

I have, but not limited to,  dash gauge pieces, interior trim, chrome trim, gasket kits, shaker breather tops, 2 speed wiper motors, engine mounts, trans cross members, and many other items.

So if you have made it out of the newbie posts and you need a special item to cheer you up for the holidays, this is for you. Or if an item is impossible to get overseas, most likely you may get a special treat this year.

I am hoping that we have as many members participate this year as last year.  And this has 2 sides. You can donate and or recieve.  Every member here on this site is considered a special person in my eyes. I have never found a closer group of internet family friends.

So for the first item of Donation this year..... I am offering up.....

Cuda RED BAR  grill kit. To be removed right off of my car.  Perfect condition.

This gift goes to a person in need of a 70 cuda red bar kit.  If you have a cuda missing this item or building a 70 cuda clone/tribute....it will be yours.

As like last year, some items traveled to far distant places and were rather large. So some members may ask for help with shipping charges on larger items, but the items will be free if they are posted from this post.

The red bar kit I offer is for free shipping. Doesnt matter where you live. Just as long as you really need it.

All items must go through this post and no emails.  And when the box arrives, you must not open till DECEMBER 25Th 2009

Have a wonderfull , safe, and family loving holiday

ALAN

Hey Alan, yes it is that time of year.  I wouldn't mind the red bar set, and in exchange I will throw in a set of front bummerets and mounting bar for a 1970 barracuda for the give away, with free shipping.  :2thumbs:

I could sure use a wiper motor...the one on my Duster died :( However, I think it's a 3spd. I could also use anything small for my Duster. I don't have much to offer up in return...I have nothing for E-body parts :dunno:

Wow, that is incredibly kind! When I get my own car, I hope to be able to do the same with bits I change one day! :2thumbs:

Speaking of which - I REALLY need a 1971 Cuda 340 or a 1970 Challenger R/T with a 440 Magnum engine. I can't find them anywhere over here or in Europe, and it seems that they are, indeed, impossible to find. So if anyone has one that they would like to send me for Christmas, please consider! :smilielol:

Seriously though, great idea - and if I ever come into parts I'm not using, I'll join in with this! Except my brain, I need that.

This thread worked out great last year so I`ll see what parts I have to give away this away this year.
69bronze-I do have some extra Duster bits and pieces I don`t need for the race car so I`ll send `em your way if interested as they were going in the trash otherwise.

Al, you are one of a kind to come up with this. I haven't been able to start on mine yet, so I don't know what spare parts I have. When I get to it, I will share them with everyone here.

The only part that comes to mind that I have never seen is the interior light for the overhead console. I have seen the round ones, but this one is rectangular, I think with a switch (not sure about the switch).

Thanks, Mike
