OK, I don't know if there is a such thing but here I go....
Cuda has been repainted, basecoat/clearcoat.
I used a suggested 2 part epoxy primer
for the rust that was there, I used a "chemical" treatment for the rust in scrathes and pores.
I tried to do everything that I could to make as solid as a base to apply paint to.... but....
With everything that went into this car, I want to make sure it STAYS as sound as possible.
As far as storage, no it is not climate controled, and I do live in a part where there will be a lot of temperature changes.
I do keep a tarp between the concrete and the car. I run a fan to circulate air.
Is there anything else I can do?
Don't laugh, but how about those elctronic devises that keep rust from forming?
I've seen them, don't know anybody that use it, might not even work.
Input?
Any thoughts on IF I did something wrong (rust left behind) how long it would take to show up?
I know that sounds crazy, I just am not sure what to keep and eye out for.
Any thoughts or input I would appreciate it - thanks again!
