Looks like they picked up my plum crazy 72 yesterday and its making its happy way to Texas.

Yep, Sure wish I could have found that car here in DFW though  :'(

Bud - did you look at that harmonic balance he was talking about? I got the documentation package on the car Friday and it shows receipts for a new harmonic balance and installation. He claims after installation it still has some 'orbit' to it and it may need to be tightened further. To my thinking, tightening would only improve a fwd-aft pulley alignment problem. Guess I will see what its all about when the car arrives this week, just wondering if you got to take a look at it. What are the chances of this being something serious like a bent crankshaft? Would probably wear out front crank seals pretty quick?

i watched it run at idle and under load and i didnt pick up on it...he sez its there but i couldnt detect it.you gotta pull that motor anyway and clean her up .you have lots of work(fun)ahead of ya.sharpen your'e wrenchs and dive in.
